Ingredients
  

  • 1.2 lbs cod, boneless (~550g)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef, 5% fat (~454g)
  • cups chopped broccoli (~110g)
  • cups chopped kale (~107g)
  • 1 cup chopped green beans (~103g)
  • tbsp Dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix (~34g)
  • 3 tsp sunflower oil (~8g)
  • 1 cup water

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). While it warms up, take a moment to appreciate that you’re doing something kind for your dog.
  2. In a large baking dish, mix together the cod, ground beef, chopped broccoli, kale, and green beans until well combined.
  3. Add the sunflower oil and water, stirring gently to coat all ingredients evenly.
  4. Place the dish in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes. Stir halfway through if possible.
  5. Let the mixture cool completely before portioning or serving to your dog.
  6. Stir in the Dog Child Essential Nutrient Mix after cooking to preserve nutrients. Portion accordingly.

Notes

This recipe makes about 9 cups (~1,551 calories). Around 170 calories per cup. Reduce your dog’s intake by 20% for weight loss and weigh every 2–3 weeks. You can freeze portions up to 2 months.
